Hi, I’m Valerie – welcome to my website!

I was diagnosed with autism at a young age, and over time, art became my favorite way to express myself. While I enjoy all types of art, painting is what I love most.

I first got into art in high school, starting with pencil drawings to learn shading and blending. Later, I discovered acrylic painting — it was challenging at first, but it quickly became my go-to medium.

My work is inspired by things I find beautiful, like nature, flowers, and architecture. I often take photos and use them as references for my paintings. Two artists who inspire me are Piet Mondrian and Vincent Van Gogh. I love their bold colors and unique styles.

I’m currently studying Art at Evergreen Valley College. Outside of painting, I enjoy working out, listening to K-pop, and trying new foods!
